TCWF MICRO AWARDS

PowHer Tools & Tuition Fund

We support women who are building leadership readiness—whether you’re a first-time supervisor, preparing for a promotion, re-entering the workforce with leadership goals, or stepping into greater responsibility.

We are so excited to be able to provide financial support to women in need. Complete the simple online application, and we will contact you after the review process. Please note that we may ask for more information to verify your need. Information requested may include data such as residence verification, college acceptance letter, etc.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

PowHer Tools (Free Resource Vault)
Participants get access to a curated library designed to make leadership feel doable—without fluff. Tools include:

  • 30/60/90-day leadership plan

  • Confidence + boundary-setting scripts

  • Coaching questions + feedback templates

  • Meeting agendas for leaders (1:1s, team meetings)

  • Prioritization and time tools

  • Stakeholder map + influence planner

  • Professional brand statement builder

 

Tuition Support (Micro-Support Awards)
Small-dollar support to remove barriers and accelerate leadership growth.

Micro-support can cover:

  • Leadership/career training course fees (online or local programs)

  • Professional coaching (2–3 sessions)

  • Tech tools needed for learning (headset/hotspot; limited laptop support as available)

  • Transportation/childcare tied to training or interviews

  • Professional essentials (printing, interview attire stipend, etc.)

Typical award range: $75–$300 (based on need + available funds)

HOW IT WORKS

APPLY

  • The online application usually takes 15 minutes or less.​

REVIEW & SELECTION

  • Awards issued on a quarterly cycle with limited awards per cycle.

 

AWARD ISSUED

  • Awards are issued direct-to-provider when possible, or reimbursement with provided documentation.

 

CHECK-IN

  • Recipient 60-day check-in to track outcomes and growth.

HOW

ELIGIBILITY

You may be eligible if you:

  • Identify as a woman and are 18+

  • Are pursuing a leadership development goal (new role, promotion prep, re-entry, career pivot)

  • Can share a clear 30–60-day plan for how support will be used

  • Agree to a brief follow-up to help us measure impact

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

We measure impact through:

  • Training/coaching completed

  • Interviews secured / promotions / increased responsibilities

  • Confidence + leadership capability improvements (self-rated)

  • Practical behavior change (new habits, boundaries, communication skills)
